Metal 3D Printing in Sterling Silver

It's been a long time coming, and finally it's here: Our designs printed directly in Sterling Silver! Yes, instead of printing in a polymer, this process entails a laser beam fusing very fine metal powder.
This rings in a new chapter in our ongoing research in Metal 3d Printing for luxury manufacture alongside Technology, using the Concept Laser MLab machine.
The image shows the printed pieces still attached to the build platform by their numerous and delicate supports, also printed in silver.
The accuracy is mind-boggling. The surface needs some elbow-grease to achieve a polished finish - especially where the supports will be detached.
Most importantly, we won't be uncovering porosity as we finish these, unlike when working with castings.
